the new kid on the block

At the urging of many friends, I have finally decided to start a blog of my own! I plan to post updates on my life and such (which will be especially useful once I leave for college), any profound thoughts I might have, and anything I think will brighten the day of my faithful readers.

I don't know how much time I will be able to devote to blogging, but I will try to post in a somewhat diligent fashion.

And one last thing: please comment on my posts! I am very people-oriented, and I would like to know that someone out there actually reads what I write. It gives some depth to an impersonal, computer-based communication.

Now that all the formal introductions are out of the way, let the blogging begin!

I understand about wanting commments - so I'll go first.
I think it's great you're starting to blog. You can keep us all posted on your Europe trip later too, and maybe even put up pictures of all the cool things you see. :)

I am very good at reading blogs, but not so good at commenting. For you, though, I will make a sincere effort to be a better commenter. =D I, too, am glad to see you join the blogosphere.

I will definitely be reading this to get all your profound comments while you are at college and in Europe. Mr.V always asks how people at college are doing so be sure to say a lot.
