... has to be the outrageous appearances we must assume. We get to look like this (note the time-period-appropriate shoes):

If we're lucky, we may get to have our hair done like this...

... or maybe even get wrinkles like this!

Best of all, though, I would say, is when the makeup department malfunctions and you get this sort of eyebrows:

Even with all this ridiculosity, our play was a success, and I for one really enjoyed the overall experience. Despite the painful hot curlers, despite the butterflies, and because of the wonderful memories made, this play will always be a pleasant thing to remember. If all plays were this much fun, I would run away and become an actress. =)

Yea, the play was a blast. I wouldn't have believed it would be so much fun - I haven't enjoyed a fund raiser more than this one. But, of course, it was a ton of work and I'm glad it's over.
Now Richard, you know you enjoyed the play. If we hadn't done it, you might never have known how dashing you look in stage makeup... =)
I have to agree with both of you, I think. It was ridiculous, fun, and I am also relieved to be finished with it. And Richard did look amazing in stage make-up. :)
You guys did exceptionally well. Seriously! I have a tad bit of an experience with theatre, and I have come to re-evaluate my acting abilities. Kimberlee, have no worries, I will still continue anyways, at least through May 8 and 9. You should come to one of those performances. They should be at least a laugh and a half. It is a twisted sort of a comedy.
Yes, and Richard once again said, "it was a blast." Let us see how many more times he will say so. :D
It was prety much amazing! Although I'm kinda glad most guys don't ware makeup! :) Kim~ those pictures are amazing!
