trying out my camera

I spied this little guy hanging out in the bushes next to a sidewalk, so I stopped to see what my camera could do! I'm really pleased with how the pictures turned out, because the frog was so small and it was hard to get the focus on him and not on the leaves in front of him. Hooray for manual focus!! Without it I could never have taken this picture. I am also very happy with the way the colors were actually captured correctly.

What sort of a camera do you have? It's a good picture!

It is an excellent picture and a cute little Hungarian fellow. Inquiring minds want to know -- did you check to see if he is a prince?

I love the picture! Dad set it as the background of our computer. It looks really professional.

Bryce to Bebe: I like the picture. I agree with Gran about kissing the frog. Are you having fun this summer in Europe? I went to Butte to the Folk Festival and to Three Forks to the rodeo. Keep writing those good letters and keep taking pictures. They are fun.

As most of you know, I have actually kissed frogs in the past to see if they turned into princes. None of them did, by the way. Believe it or not, kissing this frog never even crossed my mind! Perhaps this little guy would have been the one! Oh well, I think handsome princes are overrated anyway. I'll be happy with a good-hearted, Christian man, and will marry in utter defiance of Romantic American fairy-tale stereotypes.
